In 2013, Julia began her photography journey. When she married Garrett in 2015, they quickly realized this was something they wanted to build together. In the last 13 years both of Julia’s brothers – Jakob and Adam – have joined the STK team. Sometimes we have to remind ourselves how fortunate we are to spend every day working together. Our personalities are calm and grounding with a hint of dry humor. Above all, we just want to glorify Jesus Christ in everything we do.

Our highest goal? Serving you in a way that doesn’t take away from your wedding day, but adds just the right kind of presence.

We’ve seen it all, and guess what? The best weddings have been the ones where couples fully grasp the beauty of what this day is: one of the only days in your entire life that you get to spend with every person you love on this earth. MEET GARRETT AND JULIA

Garrett and Julia met in February 2014, fell in love that autumn, were engaged the following June, and married in September 2015. We have three wonderful children and we’re grateful that our career allows us more time at home with them. Our story is one of redemption, healing, and restoration — a testimony we love to share. MEET JAKOB

Jakob joined Sincerely, The Kitchens in early 2021 as an editor and videographer. Married to Jordi and father to their daughter Jovie, he grew up with a front-row seat to the wedding industry as Julia’s younger brother — so stepping into this career felt natural. Jakob brings a calm, collected presence to everything he does, and his passion for storytelling shows in his thoughtful editing and cinematic videography. Dependable and detail-oriented, he’s an artist who blends technical skill with a warm, steady approach that puts couples at ease and yields timeless, heartfelt films.
